Programme Info Evening: Discover Your Future at IIE MSA

30 Oct 2020

Covid-19 and global lockdowns have made an impact on how prospective students will make decisions about higher education options in future. The good news is that IIE MSA is creating innovative ideas to engage with Matrics that are looking to further their studies in 2021.

IIE MSA (formerly Monash South Africa), one of the leading brands of The Independent Institute of Education, hosted Programme Information Evenings over 2 days, on campus to invite future students to meet and (elbow) greet student advisors, academic experts and experience the state-of-the-art campus. The purpose of these sessions was for future students to find out more on how they can be part of the IIE MSA family- for them to decide what they will study when they progress to higher education next year.

Expert academics presented IIE programmes offered at IIE MSA to students and parents, highlighting the importance and considerations involved in making higher education decisions, as a result of the way the world has changed.

A prospective student that attended one of the evenings stated his reasons for having interest in studying the IIE Bachelor of Computer and Information Sciences. He believes there is a growing market out there and could turn into a great career. He is looking forward to shaping his future with IIE MSA and ensure that he is ready to face the world of technology.

“The institution of choice for the future will therefore be one that offers qualifications that result in work ready graduates as well as a teaching and learning environment that can shift seamlessly from the class to online and back. It is truly a best of both worlds option – students still want the campus life experience but they need to know they can get it with the surety that if necessary, the institution can continue to engage them online during periods of closure which are likely to repeat themselves in the future,” says Dr Felicity Coughlan, Director of The Independent Institute of Education, SA’s largest and most accredited private higher education institution.

If you wish to experience the IIE MSA campus for yourself, you can always book an appointment with one of our student advisors at www.iiemsa.co.za or contact 011 950 4009.
